EmPower Flight is today announcing the launch of a new aviation training provider designed to integrate sustainability, innovation and inclusion into pilot and cabin crew training, with courses beginning in late February 2026.
Founded by a team of aviation professionals and former airline training captains, EmPower Flight will deliver Airline Pilot Standard – Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS-MCC) training. Its newly registered associated company, EmPower Crew, will deliver Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA) programmes, operating under the same brand values, learning approach and commitment to future-focused training.
Andrew Perkins, CEO, EmPower Flight, says: “We want to create a culture that’s led with integrity, excellence and respect ensuring our graduates are equipped for both today’s and tomorrow’s aviation industry.
“Whilst many training providers and conventional flying schools only focus on technical proficiency, our ambition is to introduce education on sustainable technologies and sustainable operational thinking from Day 1.”
EmPower Crew is offering a seven-day immersive CCA programme which combines industry-standard safety and service training with an introduction to evolving sustainability practices, employability skills and progression support.
Students on the APS-MCC course will train at world-class facilities using an Airbus A320 Neo simulator, based at British Airways’ Flight Training facility with VR-supported learning tools for pre-course preparation. The APS-MCC is a 14-day, 40-hour simulator programme combining airline Standard Operating Procedures, scenario-based training, sustainable operations awareness and career-ready skills, with follow-up support into a first commercial role.
Rachel Gardner-Poole, Chief Sustainability and Growth Officer, EmPower Flight, says: “Our courses are designed and delivered by instructors with many years of commercial airline experience, ensuring training reflects real-world operations and recruiter expectations.
“With new and advanced technologies emerging to reduce our sector’s environmental impact, now is the time to encourage future aviation professionals to think differently and lead innovatively.”
EmPower Flight and EmPower Crew welcomes students from all backgrounds, brings a culture of inclusion and leadership development, and is committed to widening access to aviation careers as it grows. This includes exploring future flexible learning options to support individuals with diverse and personal circumstances.
