EmPower Flight launches Cabin Crew Attestation training with fully funded places

London, UK  •  15th January 2026

EmPower Flight is launching its new Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA) training course, with four fully funded training places available for UK-based individuals.

Delivered at Oxford Ruskin University, the seven-day immersive CCA programme will be led under the expertise of instructors with extensive airline and commercial operation experience. Committed to integrating sustainable practices throughout the curriculum, trainees will also be equipped with employability skills and offered progression support as part of the course.

Andrew Perkins, CEO, EmPower Flight, says: “Our mission is simple – we want to inspire change and empower the next generation of aviation leaders to think differently, innovatively and more sustainably. Launching our new course with funded spaces is central to our values. We’re removing financial barriers for talented individuals who might otherwise be unable to access aviation careers, helping us widen participation and build a more diverse, representative cabin crew workforce.

“With a growing need for cabin crew and aviation professionals in the industry, we have an active role to fulfil in meeting this demand whilst ensuring our trainees are equipped with the skills they need to lead, and the knowledge to succeed now and in the future.”

Rachel Gardner-Poole OBE, Chief Sustainability and Growth Officer, EmPower Flight, adds: “Our aim is to go beyond the basics of cabin crew training and really equip our trainees from the get-go to consider future technologies and industry developments. In parallel we want to ensure we are also tapping into a pool of talented individuals who may have never pursued a career as cabin crew due to financial burdens.

“On offer is a real opportunity to reap the many rewards of a professional career as cabin crew and learn more than the status quo.”

Applications for the funded programme and CCA course open on 17 January. EmPower Flight is inviting people of all backgrounds with an interest in pursuing a career as cabin crew to apply today. Applicants must have the right to live and study in the UK.

EmPower Flight is today announcing the launch of a new aviation training provider designed to integrate sustainability, innovation and inclusion into pilot and cabin crew training, with courses beginning in late February 2026.

Founded by a team of aviation professionals and former airline training captains, EmPower Flight will deliver Airline Pilot Standard – Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS-MCC) training. Its newly registered associated company, EmPower Crew, will deliver Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA) programmes, operating under the same brand values, learning approach and commitment to future-focused training.

Andrew Perkins, CEO, EmPower Flight, says: “We want to create a culture that’s led with integrity, excellence and respect ensuring our graduates are equipped for both today’s and tomorrow’s aviation industry.

“Whilst many training providers and conventional flying schools only focus on technical proficiency, our ambition is to introduce education on sustainable technologies and sustainable operational thinking from Day 1.”

EmPower Crew is offering a seven-day immersive CCA programme which combines industry-standard safety and service training with an introduction to evolving sustainability practices, employability skills and progression support.

Students on the APS-MCC course will train at world-class facilities using an Airbus A320 Neo simulator, based at British Airways’ Flight Training facility with VR-supported learning tools for pre-course preparation. The APS-MCC is a 14-day, 40-hour simulator programme combining airline Standard Operating Procedures, scenario-based training, sustainable operations awareness and career-ready skills, with follow-up support into a first commercial role.

Rachel Gardner-Poole, Chief Sustainability and Growth Officer, EmPower Flight, says: “Our courses are designed and delivered by instructors with many years of commercial airline experience, ensuring training reflects real-world operations and recruiter expectations.

“With new and advanced technologies emerging to reduce our sector’s environmental impact, now is the time to encourage future aviation professionals to think differently and lead innovatively.”

EmPower Flight and EmPower Crew welcomes students from all backgrounds, brings a culture of inclusion and leadership development, and is committed to widening access to aviation careers as it grows. This includes exploring future flexible learning options to support individuals with diverse and personal circumstances.
